Welcome to RTH Communities

RTH is an organization that advocates for tenants in the RTH/Mission Hill area. Our goal is to create, protect, and maintain affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families while improving the quality of life for residents. The neighborhood has a rich history, but during the 1960s, urban redesigns and institutional expansion displaced many people and changed the community.

We work towards our goal through various means, including property management, construction and rehabilitation, social and educational services provision, workforce development, and community activism. As one of the oldest grassroots tenant organizations, we aim to defend the rights of people of all races and cultures to quality, affordable housing while promoting tenant empowerment through active participation in leadership and development.
